يواصل مجلس إدارة غرفة تجارة دمشق اجتماعاته الدورية برئاسة السيد عصام الغريواتي، بهدف تعزيز أداء الغرفة والارتقاء بعملها بما يواكب متطلبات المرحلة المقبلة في سوريا الجديدة، وذلك من خلال مناقشة مستجدات الأمور وجداول الأعمال واتخاذ خطوات عملية نحو تطوير البنية الإدارية والخدمية.

وأكد رئيس الغرفة خلال الاجتماع أن مصالح السادة التجار تأتي في مقدمة أولويات المجلس، مشدداً على أهمية تعزيز حضور الغرفة رقمياً وإلكترونياً بما يليق باسمها وتاريخها العريق، وبما يواكب تطورات السوق وأدوات التجارة الحديثة، لإيصال الخدمة بأسهل الطرق إلى السادة التجار.

وفي هذا الإطار، تم تشكيل لجان تخصصية من السادة أعضاء مجلس الإدارة، على أن تباشر هذه اللجان أعمالها بشكل فوري، في ظل التأكيد الجماعي من أعضاء المجلس على أن "لا وقت إلا للعمل" لضمان استمرارية الأداء وتطوير الخدمات.

وفي خطوة نوعية تعكس إيمان مجلس الإدارة بأهمية التشاركية والتمثيل الحقيقي، قرر المجلس دعوة أعضاء الهيئة العامة لتشكيل لجان قطاعية تمثل جميع القطاعات التجارية، بالإضافة إلى تشكيل لجنة خاصة بكل سوق من أسواق العاصمة، بحيث تكون هذه اللجان شريكاً فاعلاً في اتخاذ القرارات الكبيرة، وصوتاً حقيقياً يعكس هموم ومطالب التجار ويقترح الحلول المناسبة ضمن سياسة سوق الاقتصاد الحر.

وقد أجمعت مداخلات السادة الأعضاء على ضرورة تمكين هذه اللجان القطاعية، وتفعيل دورها كمظلة للتجار في مواجهة التحديات اليومية واقتراح سبل تطوير الأسواق وتنشيط الحركة التجارية.

كما تم خلال الاجتماع مناقشة تحديد موعد انعقاد الاجتماع السنوي للهيئة العامة، على أن يتم إعلان موعده عبر القنوات الرسمية للغرفة لاحقاً، إلى جانب البت بعدد من القضايا التنظيمية المتعلقة بالشؤون الداخلية للغرفة.

يأتي هذا الحراك في إطار رؤية متكاملة يقودها مجلس الإدارة الجديد، تقوم على الشفافية، والعمل الجماعي، والانفتاح على جميع الآراء، وبما يضمن مستقبلاً أكثر كفاءة وفعالية لغرفة تجارة دمشق.

The Board of Directors of the Damascus Chamber of Commerce continues to hold its regular meetings under the leadership of Mr. Issam Al-Grewati, with the aim of enhancing the Chamber’s performance and elevating its work to meet the demands of the upcoming phase in the new Syria. These meetings focus on reviewing current developments, addressing agenda items, and taking practical steps toward improving the Chamber’s administrative and service structures.

During the meeting, the Chamber President emphasized that the interests of the esteemed merchants remain the top priority for the Board. He highlighted the importance of strengthening the Chamber’s digital and online presence in a manner befitting its distinguished name and historic legacy, while aligning with market developments and modern trade tools to deliver services more efficiently to merchants.

In this context, specialized committees composed of Board members were formed, with the immediate commencement of their duties. The collective commitment of the members was underscored by the unified message: “There is no time but for action,” to ensure consistent performance and continuous service improvement.

In a pioneering step reflecting the Board’s belief in partnership and true representation, it was decided to invite members of the General Assembly to form sectoral committees representing all commercial sectors. Additionally, a dedicated committee will be established for each of Damascus’s marketplaces, ensuring these committees serve as active partners in major decision-making and as authentic voices that convey the concerns and demands of merchants while proposing suitable solutions within a free-market economy framework.

Board members unanimously agreed on the need to empower these sectoral committees and activate their role as a protective umbrella for merchants, helping them face daily challenges and suggest ways to develop marketplaces and stimulate commercial activity.

The meeting also included discussions on setting a date for the Chamber’s annual General Assembly meeting, which will be announced through the Chamber’s official channels at a later time. Several internal organizational matters were also addressed during the session.

This dynamic movement falls within a comprehensive vision led by the new Board of Directors, founded on transparency, collective work, and openness to all perspectives—aiming to secure a more efficient and effective future for the Damascus Chamber of Commerce.
